Welcome to Calypso's World! (disclaimer)

This website is named after Lady Calypso Odessa our Golden Retriever, who just happens to share the same name as Homer's femme fatale, that most infamous of all sirens. And just like Odysseus, she seduced us completely.

Those of you who are "owned' by a Golden will undoubtedly understand.

Who are we?  We are John and Nancy, and this is our little personal corner of cybernia.

John's background is nuclear and cogeneration engineering.   He is currently the lead website designer for Dark Horse Design. Nancy is a school teacher for Roberge School in Rivervale, NJ.  She is a graduate of Drew University, with a masters in psychology from Rutgers University. This website is an eclectic collection of the subjects, beliefs, and hobbies (along with associated links) for which we have more than a just a passing interest.

So relax, lean back, grab a nice glass of Merlot and stay awhile!
