Calypso's world is a very old
website.
The site's namesake left this mortal coil
two years ago after a very full and joyful fourteen years of life.
In addition, much of the personal information about us which is contained within is out of
date by many years more (like our pictures! We're older sad to
say) and some of the people who made up this site
have moved on in their lives. It was essentially started in the
hey-day of personal websites in the mid 90's and is a classic "I love
me" wall. It quickly grew to contain one hundred pages or more and
a great deal of it is made up of my articles and writings - which is one
of the main reasons it is still online. It's existence as an
active site can be attributed to;
- Nostalgia - it is a snapshot of our
lives frozen in time.
- Quick access to content we still
find personally useful or fun.
- As an outdated, but nevertheless
proven internet calling card for people trying to find Nancy & I
