Transformation

Transformation

Sitting home,
all alone.
Hear your car.
Slamming door.

Storming in.
Now begin.
Spew your hate.
Know there's more.

Criticize.
Force out lies.
"Worthless, helpless",
scream and preach.

Used to hit,
now just spit.
Abuse and pain
what you teach.

Breath like beer,
marks your fear.
Raised to control.
Like father, son.

Pissed at life,
pull the knife.
Cut in deep.
This pattern done.

So inept,
just accept.
No forgiveness,
only grief.

Never knew,
I was you.
No redemption.
No relief.
